Born in 1974 in Kırklareli, Dr. Dedeoğlu completed his primary education at Bursa İnal Ertekin Primary School and his secondary education at Istanbul American Robert College. After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1997, he started his doctorate education at the same university in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Diseases. On February 12, 2004, he presented his doctoral thesis titled 'Comparative Evaluation of the Effects of DBM (Demineralized Bone Matrix) and β-Tricalcium Phosphate on Healing Used Separately and Together in Experimental Bone Defects' and was awarded the title of Dr.Med.Dent on the same date. Since 1998, he has been actively involved in domestic and international seminars, courses and meetings as a consultant opinion leader in the field of implant dentistry and implant-bourne prosthodontics. R. Kerem Dedeoğlu is in the permanent consensus consultant research group of the Camlog Foundation, which was founded in 2006 and renamed the Oral Reconstruction Foundation in 2016. He is married and is father to his two children.
